I will give you 5 stars because i have purchased tires from you before but your e-commerce web site is also the *only* online store where my personal identity was ripped off and used to purchase illicit goods. It cost me a fortune to unwind that mess. I am giving Tire Rack another chance. God only hopes that you all have invested the requisite dollars on cyber security to protect your loyal customers like me.
I love that the tires come with a warranty. I also like the order process - it makes a lot of sense. My only recommendation is to provide customers more information about how to go about scheduling installation. This is my second time doing this, and, while I know it'll probably work out fine, I'd like a little more peace of mind knowing having some more clear information that the installer knows I'll have a tire shipped to them.

Slow website, confusing at some steps and a bit intrusive
I ordered tires with the covid free install service you offered except it never gave me the opportunity to enter the address you are installing the tires as promised. ALSO when I clicked on REVIEW my order, it charged my card. That is hardly a review. I'm VERY curious to see where you send the tire man to install my tires as my billing address is in Florida. What a terrible scam this is.
The first three pictures are of the tires that don't fit properly and the last two pictures are of the rear tires that do fit properly. I had the tires shipped to an Auto service center. They were kind enough to pick up my wife's car install the tires and return it to her. After my wife came home and I inspected the tires I noticed there was a fairly large gap between the rim and the tires rim protection strip on the front, yet the rear fit properly and the tire protection lip was right next to the rim. I rang tire rack and spoke to a "specialist" and he told me they were supposed to fit this way because the rims were staggered... I'm like "what are you talking about.?" Nonsense, the tire should fit the rims... They're staggered tires on staggered rims. He told me there was nothing they could do because that's a verified tire size for that car and that was how they were supposed to fit, and also they had been driven on. I'll be having a local tire company sell me the tires and install them next time. This is the problem with Internet sales... Good deals but very little responsibility. First and last go with tire rack for me. Good luck...
Too damn many questions. Just let me place order and stop with marketing BS!
I ordered these tires last Sunday (2 days ago) on line and I didn't get a confirmation email so I called today! They found no record of my order so here I am again. I think your on line system needs work!
The check out process was difficult, if you leave the page after the payment page it resets everything to where I am re-entering the installer and answering a disclaimer about the tires. I leaves doubts about the credit card process and if my card was charged more than once.
Instead of a message popping up that says something along the lines of, "we do not accept prepaid cards including unemployment cards" I was given this pop up message that disappeared quicker than I could get the phone number that told me to contact my bank. After 20 min on the phone it was as simple as, "You do not need a VCAS anything, this merchant just doesnt accept prepaid cards".
Didn't let me pay with PayPal: it kept saying that "Paypal credit did not approve" but I wasn't using PayPal credit, just regular old PayPal. I tried updating some info and using a different device (switched from phone to laptop), but it still didn't put the order through. I ended up having to manually type in my credit card directly into the website, which I had wanted to avoid, in order to complete the transaction.
Then, when I checked my PayPal, I saw that every failed attempt to check out had actually gone through on their end and was a "pending" transaction!
Second time placing this order, not why but I never received a confirmation for the first order. Tried to contact customer service and was told I would be called back about the issue, never happened. Trying to order a second time, if it doesn't go through or I end up with 2 setd of tires it will be my last order from tire rack.
Great, as usual! I have been buying tires from Tirerack, since discovering the company in a full page European Car magazine ad, in 1991. Web site is informative, and it's fonts, colors, and photos are attractive, and easy on the eyes. And most importantly, the website cart, and checkout, functioned as it should. Perfectly. A plus.
I ordered and waited for the shipment to come in because when I selected place order I thought that meant submit but there was another button to submit all the info after review I think that should be look at to simplify the ordering process.
